Map It Out - Barbie's Dolls of the World

Mattel released an international collection called the Dolls of the World, in 1980, with Barbie's representing various parts of the world. The dolls are dressed in relatively traditional clothing with each one representing a nation. The collection is predominately of European countries; there are also Peruvian, Kenyan, Chinese, Filipino, Arctic, Japanese and Australian Barbie�s. For example, in 2001 The Princess Collection was released with dolls named Princess of India, Princess of the Navajo, and Princess of the Vikings. Each Doll of the World also has its own personal story behind her. Kelly: Dolls of the World featuring Barbie�s little sister and two friends representing different European countries were offered as of 2005.

Asia Collection-

This collection features beautiful dolls in breathtaking costumes. Their authentic dresses and costumes make for pure Asian beauty.
